After a local social media post misrepresented an interaction, dozens of one star reviews hit my profile over a weekend, many from accounts far outside my area.
Almost none were from actual patients, and I cannot relitigate a surgical outcome or a bad day in a public reply. My rating fell sharply almost overnight.
The average never fully recovered, and referring dentists asked about the score, which told me the damage had spread.
I spent hours flagging the obviously fake ones, and the platform removed only a handful as suspicious.
