This post stated that I did not send an antibiotic, that they could not get a hold of me, and even though the call went to another doctor who did not send an appropriate medication, it was still my fault.
Our EMR was recently updated, and we have been having issues with pharmacy accepting e-prescriptions. I sent an antibiotic VERBALLY to the pharmacy. The patient called back, and receptionist sent me the message stating that the parent never got it, but I was done for the day and my shift was over and I would have never seen the message. They stated that "they could not get a hold of me" but that is because I was not there, and the call should have went to the covering physician.
reviews went down, I was questioned by management.
no, because I cannot reach out to the patient. I flagged the post, but it is still visible.
