A one-star review for a crown I never placed
This account was submitted by a healthcare provider and de-identified before publication. Details that could identify a patient or practice have been removed, and it is shared with the provider’s consent.
A one star review accused me of a "crown that fell out in a week" and warned people away from my office.
There is no patient in my records matching the review, and the crown and tooth it names were never work I did. I cannot publicly say the reviewer was never my patient without acknowledging a relationship that never existed.
New patients brought it up at the front desk, and my schedule thinned for a month while it sat at the top of my profile.
I reported it twice as a non-patient review and got the same templated reply that it did not violate policy.
