A copay surprise that torched my rating as a therapist

The review was about a surprise copay and a scheduling mix-up, both front desk and insurance issues, yet it torched my rating as a clinician with a single angry star.
The actual therapy had gone well, and the patient had made real, measurable progress toward their goals over the course of care, but a star rating flattens everything, so "the billing confused me" and "the therapist was bad" look identical to the next person scanning my profile. I could not lay out the billing and insurance details publicly without exposing the patient's coverage information.
It is genuinely demoralizing to pour yourself into someone's recovery, watch them improve, and then have your clinical reputation set by a paperwork glitch you did not cause. Patients occasionally mention it, and I find myself explaining the difference between the front desk and the treatment room.
I had my front office reach out to try to resolve the copay confusion, which we did, but the review never changed.
